Christmas in Honolulu Hawaii – A Pictorial Presentation How do people, some of which have never seen snow, celebrate Christmas and the Holiday Season? |

Not unlike anyone else really BUT with an island flavor. Let's start with a few pictures of Honolulu City Lights at the city hall building
This was the first thing I noticed when I first moved here and celebrated my first Hawaii Christmas. I absolutely loved the island flavor added to the old tradition of Saint Nick
I'll just be quiet for a bit and let you enjoy your Honolulu Holiday
Mele Kahlikimaka means Merry Christmas in Hawaiian Hauoli Makhiki Hou means Happy New Year in Hawaiian
These blocks get turned after Christmas to say Happy New Year in Hawaiian Sand Sculpture at Sheraton Waikiki I took my family to our favorite restaurant for breakfast and so we can see the sand sculpture at the hotel. Once again adding an island flavor to an old tradition
